"Here's your room..." I said, showing Sam the room I prepared for her. I knew we couldn't stay in the same room. I needed her to relax. This was an attempt to get to know her better. I was willing to take it slow.
"You could freshen up and change into pyjamas. I did some shopping for you earlier. There are some clothes in the wardrobe for you to use. I will be at the fireplace in case you need me. " I explained, and she nodded. I hoped I could get her talking. I wouldn't achieve much if she remained like this. I excused her and went to sit by the fireplace.
