Maddox's POV
Edgar and I are sitting on the couch, drinking iced coffee while Stella and Zelda are silent.. just staring at each other.
"I have to tell you this .." Edgar whispers and I look at him as I gently bite the end of the straw.
"She is even more badass than your sister can ever be" he whispers and I know he is comparing my sister with my fiance, but we agreed that both have the same temper and fierceness.
"For God Sake! Please stop talking. My ears hurt" Stella says and I give her a flat look.
"We know you are not human, Stella. Quit the act and tell us who you really are. We must help each other" I say and she doesn't say anything.
