Rogue Wolves

Grace’s POV The Misty Forest, a mysterious and awe-inspiring place. When you step into the edge of the forest, a light layer of white mist will gently surround you, just like a fairyland. This forest exuded an ancient and mysterious atmosphere that made people couldn't help but feel the deep flow of time. In the Misty Forest, giant trees stand in the depths of the forest, their trunks covered with moss, as if traces of age. The branches of the tree stretched upwards as if trying to touch the sky, connecting the entire forest to the firmament. The leaves were dense, forming a huge green canopy that blocked the sunlight, making this forest always shrouded under a layer of shimmering light. Because of the thick fog, the Misty Forest also had a strong danger. In the mist, people could easily lose their way and get lost in the dense forest. Those who tried to venture into it often rumored to have encountered strange visions here. I have been walking aimlessly in the Misty Forest for a long time, the guards threw me not far from the entrance and disappeared, they were afraid of entering the Misty Forest and being killed by arrows fired indiscriminately by the people of the Blue Moon Pack who saw them. I tried to find a way out and follow the light, but the layers of mist made me lose sight of what was behind me within a few steps, I didn't know where I was, and even more terrifying than death was the unknown of my surroundings. Thirsty and tired until I could go no further, I chose to lean against a mound of dirt under one of the oldest looking trees and wait quietly for death. A light white mist gathered underneath and gradually became transparent as it drifted to the top, I looked up at the sky, topped by a huge trellis roof of dense foliage, I could still feel the sparse sunlight, only when I stretched my hands out they never came to my palms. The scene in front of me gradually became blurred, tears fell from the corners of my eyes without argument, I do not know where I came from since I was born, and until I die I do not know where I am going. Goddess of the Moon, if there is a next life, I don't want to be a werewolf, I want to be a human being, I can live in a dignified manner, or be a vampire, born with the ability to hunt, it is also excellent. I closed my eyes to feel the passage of time, I could feel my life passing by, but not before I completely lost consciousness, I vaguely heard a few growls, what kind of sound is this, wild and containing bloodthirsty killing. I quietly straightened up and looked towards the outside of the mound, only to see four wolves with disheveled and dirty fur were surrounding the deer that had been trembling continuously out of fear, they weren't eager to get to know the fragile fawn directly, but rather took it as their prey. One went up and bit the fawn's neck to control it from resisting, another bit its right hind leg, the remaining one bit its left front leg, after that the wolf that originally bit the fawn's neck went up and bit its left hind leg, the remaining one werewolf bit its right front leg, after all the fawn's limbs were bitten, the four wolves pulled in four directions, the fawn was dismembered alive, A bloody and pungent smell spreads in the air, I cover my mouth tightly, forcing myself not to make any sound, and it's not until the four wolves transform into human beings after feasting on the fawn that I realized Oops! It's rogue wolves. They are the product of a fall between wolves and humans, losing the honor of wolves and the conscience of humans to become cunning and vicious beings. Rogue wolves are similar in appearance to ordinary werewolves, but their features are more hideous and terrifying. Their fur was disheveled and dirty, and there was a sly gleam in their eyes. Unlike normal wolves, they never possessed the beauty of humanity, leaving only a deformed and perverted appearance. These rogue wolves had no fixed territory or belonging, they only cared about their own interests and desires. They roamed along the dark forest, often waiting for opportunities to oppress the weak and prey on the innocent. They forage like wild animals, are adept at ambushing and hunting, and are one of the most feared presences in the city. Rogue wolves have lost their moral restraints and their behavior is brutal and savage. They get what they want by any means necessary and care nothing for the pain and pleas of others. In the darkness of the night, they are like bloodthirsty demons, bringing fear and destruction. If I fall into the hands of the rogue wolves, the result can be imagined, I must find a way to escape, I can't die in such a humiliating way. They crouched on the ground after they had eaten their fill, their cunningly glowing eyes constantly alert to their surroundings. It was a huge test for me to figure out how to escape from the rogue wolves who were more alert than the pack werewolf. I knew I needed to be calm, luckily I chose a place with a higher concentration of large trees, rogue wolves weren't good at traversing complex terrains, and using the terrain to my advantage might allow me to get away from their tracking for a while. After a quick glance at my surroundings, I probably knew how to use the obstacles and terrain to avoid them, and then look for the right moment to escape. After that I crept on the ground and crawled towards the big tree next to me, the height of the mound of earth could give me a barrier, and the big tree next to me looked like it led to the depths of the forest and the white fog was much thicker, so as long as I entered there, the rogue wolves definitely wouldn't be able to find me. With that said I fought my way forward, crawling to the end of the mound of dirt, in front of me was flat ground, and in my position to the nearest big tree underground is about half a meter away, just this short half a meter distance makes my heart beat faster, I need to be fast, and can not make any noise, for the eyesight and hearing is superb rogue wolves, a single carelessness can make me fall into their clutches. I took a deep breath, I knew I didn't have any choice, closing my eyes and standing on my tiptoes, I quickly ran across the street to the big tree. Whew, luckily I didn't hear any footsteps chasing me, they must not have found me. "Where do you want to go, beautiful bunny?" A raspy and teasing voice rang above my head. At this moment, I knew I was mostly dead. Lifting my head, I saw an incredibly ugly and dirty face, his face was covered with scars and scruff, he was staring straight at me with his only remaining eye, the corners of his mouth were still covered in blood from the venison, I could see his teeth through his slightly opened mouth, they were covered in blood, with remnants of flesh vaguely remaining between them, and his breath alone brought out a thick, sickening smell of blood. "Vomit……" I couldn't hold back any longer and dry heaved.
