Wednesday, 07 March 2018. Manhattan Upper East Side, New York City. At night, in the street, Emilie walks down the pavement road with a grocery shopping bag in her hand. She keeps staring down at the quick pace of her own black boots. Sometimes she glances cautiously, back and forth, just to check out what’s around her. She doesn’t let people see her face behind that oversized black hoodie. She just keeps walking and walking, until she stops at one of the small stores in town. It’s a local wine bar.
