Preparation For The Last Battle

Carter goes back to Shumpak to prepare for the battle, he was determined to save humanity no matter what. Carter reached Shumpak after a day. Rashi talked to Carter to prepare him for the long fight that they were trying to win.

“Ok Carter I hope you’re ready, It will take days to master these techniques that I will teach you so brace yourself.” Rashi said with a serious tone in his voice.

Carter holds his necklace that his grandma gave to him determined to defeat all the Gods.

“Yes, I am ready Rashi, let's start this.” Carter answered with a courageous face.

They trained for days and days, Rashi teached Carter everything to fight using a sword or by hands, Rashi taught him some magic spells from they’re kingdom but he didn’t learn it as fast as he thinks he can. While they were training for days many disasters followed on the ground. No matter what happens there is no stopping now. Until the day has finally come. 5 years passed, his body was full of muscles yet he was very fast, he learned how to use magic now and he was more determined to take the Gods down no matter what. Half of the humanities population was now wiped out, fortunately Carter's friends, his grandma and the girl he loved were not killed as he checks them month by month.

“You are now worthy to defeat the Gods Carter. Now listen carefully, only the artifacts of Zudnir can kill the Gods and the Goddess. I don’t know if this would work but you should give it a try. In the days of our mighty king. His armor and his swords come to him when he needs it. This may sound impossible but I need you to use the astral project I taught you, me and my soldiers are going to protect you from the guards of the astral world. if you are worthy enough you will feel the artifacts' energy. Once you feel it, channel every energy in your body to make it go towards you.” Rashi said while thinking of ways on how to help Carter find Zudnir’s artifacts.

Carter knows that what Rashi was asking him was quite impossible even though he trained him for a long time but he knows that there is nothing wrong in giving it a shot.

Carter started an astral project and it was successful, Rashi and his soldiers also started astral projects to protect Carter from the astral guards. Carter felt the energy of everything that made it hard for him to look for the artifacts until the artifact’s felt his energy and knew that he was Zudnir’s successor. The artifact flew faster than the speed of sound towards his body to protect him. As he saw that the artifacts were in his body he stopped casting his astral projection and quickly went back to his body.

The artifact was brighter than light itself, it was made from the strongest ore and was blessed to defend its user from the Gods and the Goddess attacks, not only can it defend its user but it can also kill the Gods. As Zudnir felt that Carter acquired his artifacts he tried to contact Carter even though it was hard.

Carter heard a voice, it can’t be heard properly but the voice sounds familiar.

“Carter it was me! I see that you acquired my treasures now. There is no time for you to save me but now I will tell you everything you need to know about the Gods.” Said Zudnir to Carter as there is no time to lose.

“It’s you Zudnir, I didn’t know that your armor was this heavy.” Carter said with a slight smirk on his face.

“Of course it is heavy, why would you expect a great king to use light armor, shield and sword?” Zudnir said a bit mad because his pride was hurt by Carter.

“Sure.” Carter replied sarcastically.

Rashi was curious about whom Carter was talking to as he couldn’t see no one around Carter so he asked him.

“Who are you talking to Carter?” Rashi asked him.

“I'm talking to you Zudnir, he tried to contact me again.” answered Carter.

“Tell him that we are already done with our task and ask our mighty king if it is now possible to lift our curse.” said Rashi with an excitement in his face as he was tired to live and to feel pain anymore.

“Tell them that I can not yet as I cannot use my powers in this prison.” Said Zudnir to Carter with a sad tone as he was worried with his loyal guards.

“Zudnir said he cannot yet as he was still imprisoned by the Gods.” Carter said with a sad face as he knew that Rashi and his soldiers deserved to have their curses lifted.

Rashi and his soldiers were sad but not mad at their king.

“Tell him that it is fine Carter, If he needs my service, tell him to talk to me.” said Rashi with a gloomy face.

Rashi and his soldiers leave Carter to talk with their king in peace.

“Back to what I was saying, Carter. There are a lot of Gods but they’re only five Gods that you're tasked to kill…” Zudnir said as he tried his best to explain it to Carter.
