1.The Reunion (Lilah POV)

I rush down the lanes of New York City. I am late for work again. I currently work in a café down the street. I have been working there for 5 years with my best friend Amelia.

My mind suddenly drifted to the day that changed my life, the day because of which I have been away from the love of my life for so long, Lucah Walton. I wonder if he still thinks about me, or does he think I am dead? 

Anyways, I put my thoughts aside as I see that I have reached the café. The bell chimed as I entered the café and I notice Amelia waving at me from the counter, "HEY b***h!", she shouted, I went towards her and replied, "Hey Amelia!", giving her a short hug, "I will start serving the coffee", I said and she nodded her head.

After an hour later, the bell chimed again and the whole café got quiet, but stupid me was so engrossed in serving coffee that I did not notice, as I was about to turn, I collided into a hard wall which caused the coffee to spill, the whole café gasped. There was not a wall here I thought and then I realize that this is not a wall but a person that I spilled my coffee on and my eyes widen, I was too afraid to look at the eyes of the person, and I started to apologize profusely and started to play with the necklace that Lucah gave me, a nervous habit of mine.

"I am so so sorry sir, I was not looking where I was going, I am sorry, I can give you tissues if you want, no wait that will make it worse, I can dry clean your clothes if you-", I rambled on with my head down but stopped when he interrupted me and said the word that stopped my furiously beating heart.

"Princess?", he whispered as he touched my necklace and his voice contained disbelief in them. 

He was here.

He was the man I spilled my coffee on.

The love of my life, my soulmate, Lucah Walton.

My moist blue eyes immediately snapped up to find his teary green eyes on me and I swear the time stopped.

"Lucah...?", I whispered brokenly.
