Fleur felt offended as he asked her with scowl on his face. If she could, she would punch in his handsome face and show this guy how much of tough she really is. She could really use the tricks he had taught her.
“ Noah.” She called out sternly and the Alpha scoffed at her before turning back to his work in hands. “ You are just ignoring my question by doing this.” She accused. “ Was your love for her that weak?” she asked and instantly regretted it. She was suppressing her wolf side and so it was just her human side speaking to her husband.
Something broke in Noah at that sentence as he looked back at her, his eyes hard and dark as he stared at his wife who gulped but stayed on her place, refusing to let go just yet.
