Like the triangular wooden toys grandma gifted me when I was a child were the mountain ridges around yi river.Big brother had once told me of a pathway known by just a few, but big brother also spoke of a mystical creature that devours anyone that tries to use the passage.However there are some that has dared to enter the ridge and a few ,one that I know of returned ,it was my eldest cousin zeda,ever since he hasn’t been able to speak and it’s just as if he lost part of his memory.with zeda returning in that state no one since then that I know of had attempted to get in. As I approached I thought it wise to leave Naru behind even though he reluctantly agreed .After few minutes of walking in the void space ,there was a certain wild noise like two people talking to each other and then a sharp movement of a shadow right in front of me .With my sword drawn I began to move towards my assumed location of the actual body .”you won’t be needing that “a voice just from behind came directly to my ears ,As I turned slowly there was what seem like a giant bear,it was a hrdes beast .I have only heard of it in stories as a child .Sometimes imperial father would talk about it.He told me of the curse of immortality that will befall anyone that kills it,As I gazed at it trying as much as possible to maintain my confidence feigning fearless ,I began to think of wbat to do ,at the moment I couldn’t really think straight ,pictures of eldest cousin and what happened to him was what I could only think of.A creature with the head of a dragon sprouting fire and the body of a giant human with eight toes .If eldest cousin’s state is the immortality talked about I would rather be splitted in half by the creature .Trying to measure its strength I feigned an attack but it just stood there ,afterwards it raised its arm and with its raising came a kind of insect that slowly disintegrated into soot ,with every bit of courage left I went for it ,just as my sword through its neck it disappeared alongside it. Just immediately it reappeared at my side .Turning with the intent of killing it this time ,I instead met a replicate of myself .As I hanged almost automatically ,even almost surprising was the resounding slap I got from it. That was when I realized I was up against something different. In this void space if killing this demon will be killing me I’m willing to lay here on the soil my ancestors laid .As I opened my eyes ,there was a bright light intense enough like Haotian’s ,the heaven’s light ,I only heard of in stories . it shone brighter than anything I had witnessed before, slowly my eyes shut as it did then outside the bear area. It was the bronze blood effect .Minutes later as I opened my eyes slowly from the exhaustion , it was the old man .Suddenly I felt a kind of energy in my ,one that I hadn’t felt before .you are an adult now he whispered ,it’s energy would have made you mad had it been this way back then but your body is weak even though you are grown now. Follow me he said .we walked for a few minutes and through a bridge with burning coals with a noisy disturbance underneath. Give me your hand ,[cuts sharply ,but at the surface], he was quite unfeeling as he dropped my blood down at whatever was down there was a sudden quiet. The three colors are only used in wars , the yellow is used to settle internal conflicts and struggle for power among the royals and the elites .The red among the generals to rule over the yellow stamp bearers and to overrule any standing order by the yellow stamps , aside this it’s only used in wars with other nations and the golden is only used by the king ,no matter the occasion the golden seal represents the king ,it’s the same used in royal edicts by the king. The twelve guards are chosen by the royal house from the military academy [ for generals] and trained from then till they become good enough to represent the guards of the ruling monarch .At the end of their training they are branded at the left arm with the golden seal and a ritual conducted by the high priest ,unlike normal guards they are not always seen around the palace but at crucial moments when the king’s life threatened .
