3. I feel like being generous today

Shane POV I looked at the girl in front of me whose face was looking rather stupid, covered in pizza grease and cheese. The juice had also spilled in her white shirt. It soaked through it, revealing her bra. I could see her body through the wet shirt. Anna Garcia. I met her when we were kids through her brother. She was one of those quiet, shy girls who liked to sit in the corner and play by themselves. When I first met her, I thought she was cute. She had this sweet round face and a cute little button nose. Her hair was long and dark, just like it is now. But as we grew older, I hated her more and more. Every time I saw her, it was as if the beast inside me wanted to come out. I took pleasure in tormenting her. Just like how I tripped her at the cafeteria. I grabbed her quickly before she hit the concrete. It wasn't like I wanted her to get seriously injured. She was still Jayce's sister, so I needed to tread carefully. But then I had the desire to punish her. I grabbed her arm and dragged her toward my locker. I wasn't lying about having an extra hoodie, and I was willing to lend it to her but not before I had the chance to tease her more. "Shane! Slow down, you're hurting me!" she cried. "Stop whining," I barked. "Your hand is digging into my arm. Why do you have to grab me so hard?" she was wincing. I didn't let go until we reached the locker. "Aww, you poor baby. Did I hurt you, my delicate flower?" I said sarcastically. "f**k you, Shane!" I heard her mumble. Whoa... I never heard this mouse curse at me before. Did she think I'd let her get away with it? "What did you say to me?" I dared her to repeat it. "Nothing, I didn't say anything." "You've got some nerve to talk s**t," I grabbed her cheeks and forced her to look at me. I saw fear reflecting in her eyes. She was terrified of me. Good. "I...I wasn't talking s**t. Let me go," she stammered. "Bullshit, I heard you." "I thought you were lending me your hoodie!" she cried. "You're lucky I feel like being generous today." I took it out of my locker and threw it at her face. She mumbled thanks then ran into the bathroom. I tried to decide whether I should wait for her or not. The good part of me wanted to leave her be and go back to the cafeteria. But the vindictive part of me wanted to see her squirm some more. And once again, the vindictive part won. She came out of the bathroom in less than four minutes. Her face showed she was disappointed that I was still here. She must've been hoping I got bored and left. Not a chance, senorita. "I'll give it back to you tomorrow," she said, referring to the hoodie which went down to her knees. Shortstuff. "Keep it. I wouldn't want it back anymore. Not after it touched your ugly body," I said nonchalantly. Her face twisted into a frown. "Why do you have to say mean things to me all the time? I haven't done anything wrong." True. Poor, innocent Anna has never done anything wrong. Why does that piss me off even more? "Because I can," I said and walked toward her. I flicked her on the forehead before walking away, snickering quietly as she yelped. Stupid b***h. The end of lunch bell rang, so I headed to my English literature class. I looked forward to that class every day as the girl I've had a crush on sat in front of me. Adriana Lyn. Adriana was one of the most beautiful girls in my school. We've met each other a few times at parties, but I never asked her out since she already had a boyfriend since freshman year. They recently broke up, so now was my chance to make a move. "Hey," I flopped down behind her. She turned around and smiled. Her green eyes twinkled. One of her best features. "Hey Shane," she said. "I've wanted to ask you something," I said. "What's that?" "Sarah Alexander is having a party this Saturday night. Would you want to go as my date?" I asked. Adriana looked unsure. "I don't know...Shane. Bruce and I just broke up, so..." "It'd be fine. We can go as friends. What do you think?" I pressed. "Okay. I'll go with you," she said. I couldn't wait. Maybe Saturday night would be the night I can make a move on Adriana. I wondered if that little runt Anna was going to the party. Not that I cared whether she went or not. I have never seen her go to these parties. No-one ever invited her, and Jayce didn't want his little sister tagging along with him. After school, I picked up Molly so I could take her out for lunch. I had no interest in dating her, but she wouldn't leave me alone, so I ended up caving and saying yes to our little 'date.' I'd much rather hang out with Adriana. I sat there and listened to her endless rambling for an hour, and then the lunch was finally over. God, what torture that was! I took her straight home. She looked at me with surprise as I hugged her goodbye. "Wait, aren't you gonna come in?" Molly asked. "No. I have to go home, sorry," I said. "But my parents aren't home. We have the house all to ourselves," she smiled at me suggestively. As much as I love getting some ass, I couldn't handle another minute listening to Molly talk about stupid crap. I'd rather go home and play video games all night. "Tempting, but I gotta go, so bye," I said. She grabbed my arm. Clingy much? "Then come over tomorrow. The house will be empty for a few hours tomorrow too." She sounded desperate, which was the least attractive quality to me. "Sorry, Molly. I'm not interested. I took you out for lunch because you wouldn't leave me alone. I'm not into you or anything," I shrugged. Molly looked like she couldn't believe that someone doesn't like her. How self-absorbed is this girl! I decided to skip going home and go straight to Jayce's house. I remembered the relieved look on Anna's face when she heard I was going out with Molly. She probably thought she wouldn't have to see me today. So naïve. I smirked as I couldn't wait to see her disappointed face.
