Chapter 41Scott’s POV
It’s been two months now and my dad hasn’t come back home since he was assigned a really major duty in Afghanistan. This is how hard it is to be the child of a military father. He hardly comes home, and when he does, he stays for a while and any minute I always know he’d get a call of duty and that he’d leave again. I had really waited for him to come home the last time he called, but plans changed. He couldn’t come.
Another thing that’s bothering the hell out of me is the fact that Kyrah, no longer wants anything to do with me, or anyone else. All her time is spent with Blake. It’s like we’re all invisible to her. I never liked Blake since the very first day I saw and I never will. He’s made Kyrah a totally different person. She’s now forgotten about all her friend
