Chapter 79
Kyrah’s POVA couple of hours later, Vic and Wren come back. Roxy is now feeling better and she’s more than excited to go to the river.
“Come on! Let’s go, I want to throw myself into the water,” Roxy says as she pulls my arm.
“Is it too deep?” Wren asks.
“Not really, but first, let’s go round the back. I wanna show you something,” Kye says and we all follow him.
Outside, the birds are chirping merrily and the trees are swaying gently from side to side. The mud dried up and thank God it did, because I hate mud so much!
We walk behind Kye and go round the cabin where I spot a kennel. Is there a dog here?
“Axel! Come on boy!” Kye shouts and immediately a large German shepherd runs out of the dog house and nearly makes Kye fall down.
