Chapter Fifteen
PIPER AND ASH HAD THOUGHTFULLY waited to go on the rides until the grandparents could join them. Instead, they were showing Will award-winning drawings from the local elementary school in a booth where the very best were on display. The young artists were in the booth too, proudly showing off their drawings and paintings. Will looked like he was drinking it all in, his gaze going from one brightly colored piece of artwork to another while his parents chatted with the kids.
“You’ll have to start him finger painting,” said Meadow, her thoughts already clearly going in a familiar direction—that Will was a prodigy and just needed the right tools to create a masterpiece.
