After hearing all that Hunter had gone through, I couldn't help but shed tears. I thought I had it rough, but people on the other side of the world were also royally screwed over by others. Now he was in a situation where he had to comply with the same creatures he hates with a fury to survive.
"I'm sorry for all that happened, especially when you rejected your mate. You're just like us rejects," I wiped my tears away.
