Charlotte's POV The second day of our reconnaissance mission went by even quicker than the last. It saddened me that we were leaving that same night. Deep inside, I wanted to stay in this village; the people were actually nice and didn't expect anything from me. I also liked the fact that everyone stayed as humans, no shifting or anything. Back when I couldn't shift, I always felt jealous of children who could shift while I couldn't. But now, staying in my human form, I feel like I belong.
