I never truly realized how amazing my sister was.
I'm watching her and her friends work, looking after all these people like it's something they do every day.
Which, apparently, it is.
Some of the people smell really bad.
I'm not going to lie.
I've had to hold back a gag more than once.
But I noticed nobody else reacted to it, so neither did I.
These people didn't have access to everything I took advantage of every single day.
A shower. Clean clothes. A bathroom whenever I needed one.
The last thing they needed was someone making them feel bad about it.
So, I kept handing out sandwiches and bottles of water.
And they were so thankful.
Some said thank you several times.
It made me realize how something so small to me could mean so much to somebody else.
