That night, Blaze pulled me back to our room. I hadn't even seen my mom or most of the ladies all day. I think everything that happened the day before shook them more than they wanted to admit. The men were just braver about facing me. Or maybe more stubborn. Probably both. Blaze, though, wanted to get out of the compound for a while. Just me and him. I sure as hell wasn't going to argue with that. He helped me climb onto the back of his bike before getting on infront of me. I wrapped my arms around him, and we took off.
