Chapter 26Angela looked bright eyed and bushy tailed when she arrived at work on Monday. It was a sunny morning and the sky was a clear blue. She'd had a great weekend. The dinner party had been a success, everyone had got on with each other really well. Their conversations had been full of banter and jokes. On Sunday morning, she and Bobby had driven down to Prestwick beach to give Rex a long walk and, once again, the weather had been fair. Then, in the afternoon, they'd visited the Barras market in the east end of the city, where Angela had managed to purchase a beautiful silver-topped claret jug at a bargain price from one of the antique stalls. She was delighted. Paul too, had had a great weekend. He'd finally felt secure enough to tell his wife, Gemma about the extent of their legacy
