Chapter 30The phone rang at seven in the morning when Bobby was still in the shower. Angela was sitting at her dressing table, applying her make-up, but she ran to answer it. Her immediate thought was, something's wrong. Surely, no one would call this early unless there was a problem.
“Thank goodness, a voice instead of the machine. Good morning Angie, it's Jake. Is Bobby in, or is he swanning off somewhere again, like he did yesterday?”
