Chapter 36Paul's mobile began to ring and he answered it on the hands free.
“DS Costello,” he said.
“Paul, it's Frank, is Angela with you?”
“Yes, Frank, we're in my car. I'm on hands free so she can hear you.”
“Where are you at the moment?”
“We've just left Scotstoun and we're on our way back to the office. We've been checking out a couple of leads.”
“We got a call about gun shots being heard coming from a house in Scotstoun. The armed response unit is there now and Jack and Tony are at the scene. I'm just on my way over.”
“Do you want us to swing round and join you, boss?”
