Chapter 15Jack Dobson and Angela entered the building at the same time. She expected him to hold open the door for her, but instead, he raced through in front of her and let it swing shut behind him, then he turned and laughed. “Not quick enough, Murphy,” he said. “A gentleman is meant to hold a door for a lady, you're not ten years old,” she chided. “Well there you are, Murphy, you've got your answer. I guess you're no lady.” Angela stuck her tongue out at him. “What are you doing here anyway?” she asked. “I don't usually see you from one week to the next and, I must say, I prefer it that way.” “Yeah, me too,” he replied. “It's all your friend, Paul's fault, so you can take up your grouse with him. He's had to take a day's leave all of a sudden, compassionate grounds, the boss said.
