Chapter Seven

"Uncle, did I make you wait too long?". Moon Ga-Young asked once she sat at her Uncle's table. "No, I just got here". Moon Ga-Young chuckled as she knew about her Uncle's earliness. He would even be there before time. "Are you sure, Uncle?". She teased and Alexander smiled. He missed having these days with her. "Moon, how are you these days? It's been a long time since I visited you". Alexander said. "It's the same routine everyday". Moon said quietly. "Well I don't think so cause my sources tell me that Camari had set you up on a blind date lastweek". Alexander looked into his niece's eyes. Moon Ga-Young widened her eyes. "Are you stalking me?!". "No, I'm just looking out for you. Besides you're my favourite niece. You have to be protected all the time". Alexander spoke out his thoughts.

"But that's invading my privacy". She said after a long silence. "Yes, but it'll keep you safe. Especially with that Brown i***t and his little minx running around in the city". Alexander said, his voice void with any emotion on the outside. But in the inside, he was burning with fury. After every thing he had done for the Browns, this was how they repaid him. He used to be close friends with Rashford's father, but after that scandal, he redrawed everything he had put in that company and by doing so, Bassel Corporation had suffered a harsh blow in their stocks but De Luca Corp. came to their aid.

"Uncle, I'm not scared of him". Alexander heard a hint of uncertainty in her voice..What had they done to his fearless and confident Moon Ga-Young?! "Are you sure you really sorry want to take my offer of destroying that little minx". Alexander suggested. Seventeen year old Moon Ga-Young would have jumped at the thought of ruining Sophie's life after what she did to her. "No Uncle, one target on her head, and Rashford would come for us". When she had wanted to get revenge on Sophie, she found out a deep secret about her and when she threatened to tell the whole world about it, Sophie shot her shot. As it was the first time she'd asked Rashford for a favor, he put his all in it. Moon Ga-Young was kidn*pped and beaten until her ribs were sore and she couldn't even eat nor talk. She shivered as she had a replay of what happened.

"You've changed so much within these years. You're more matured". He praised his niece. "I don't want to be those crazy ex fiancees after their ex's new fiancee". Moon Ga-Young laughed. After their conversation, their food was brought and they immediately digged in. After they were done, Moon Ga-Young made her way home. As she sat on her bed, she received a text message.

Cami?: I'd like you to come to mine today.

Moonie?: Of course I'd love to. Send me the address.

Cami?: xxxxxx 256 street.

Moon Ga-Young went for a shower after she got her friends house address. She had never been there. Camari always came to hers. She got out in a French handmade corset top, oversized jeans, Louis Vuitton boots and a black blazer. She took a cab and told the driver the address. After some time, they appeared infront of a majestically beautiful mansion, well mansion was an understatement. It would be a castle if they were acting a royal movie. The mansion was painted white. It had about twenty wimdows. There were five cars parked in front of the house. It had a fountain where roses had been put. Long story short, it was magnificent.

She paid the driver and told him to keep the change. She made her way towards the entrance but was stopped by two men. They asked for her ID. Just then, Camari came running to them. She instructed the guards to let her in whenever she came there. As Camari dragged Moon Ga-Young inside, the guards looked at her suspiciously. Camari and Moon Ga-Young made their way to the garden. There were four chairs and tables and an umbrella to keep the people who sat there from the scorching sun. Camari pulled her to the table where, a man, a woman and Orabella were sitting down. Orabella stood up to hug Moon Ga-Young. The man and woman were shocked. They had never seen Orabella having physical contact with anyone except her siblings. Camari introduced the man amd woman as her parents. "Mum and dad, this is Moon Ga-Young". She told them. Arabella, Camari's mother was happy to see her younger daughter with someone other than those spoiled bratty ladies she introduced a long time ago. But Dante, her father wasn't. He knew Moon Ga-Young had a history with the Browns and he wasn't fond of them. Moreover she used to have a very bad reputation and he didn't want his daughters making friends with people like her. "Oh so this is the Moon Ga-Young I heard about last three years ago" . Dante said. He wanted Moon Ga-Young to feel ashamed to even be in the same space as them as she had lost all of her financials. But what he didn't know was that, she was making her own money and had Alexander as her strong backing whenever she needed it. "Yes, the one and only". Dante was shocked when he heard the confidence in her voice. He expected her to twitch her lips and fidget with her fingers nervously but she didn't. As Orabella saw how her father was shocked by her new friend's confidence, she couldn't help but smile a little. No one could talk to Dante De Luca that way. Not even her, Camari or Arabella. Only Ace could do that as he didn't really have a stable relationship with him. And now, Moon Ga-Young was added to the list.

Meanwhile Emma, the youngest maid in the house burned with jealousy. Camari had never smiled to her like that . Throughout the time Orabella spent there, she had never even spoken to to her and what made her crazy was how she saw Arabella's eyes approved of her. Even though the De Lucas saw her as their family, she couldn't help but burn with envy and jealousy. " EMMA!! Can you please bring us juice". Arabella called her. "Yes, Ma'am". Emma replied. She went to the kitchen to get the juice but what she heard made her angry.

'Have you seen the girl that Miss Camari has brought home? She looks like an angel sent from Heaven'

' If I thought Emma looked like the daughter of a goddess, then that woman is the goddess herself".

Obviously, the last comment annoyed her. Who was she to take all the attention?! Emma mused. She took five glasses and put the jar of juice on the tray. As she was going, she made up her mind to punish Moon Ga-Young. And as the Devil heard her, Moon Ga-Young stood up to take the tray from her. Emma left the tray all of a sudden and the juice poured as Moon Ga-Young gasped. "Oh my God, I didn't mean to". Emma innocently said. She knew how those rich heiresses acted. And she expected Moon Ga-Young to shout on her or hit her. But Moon Ga-Young didn't do any of that. Instead, she told Emma that it was an accident and asked for the bathroom. As Emma was infuriated with her as the saw the emotion in Arabella's eyes, she gabe Moon Ga-Young the wrong direction.

But what she didn't know was that, she gave Moon Ga-Young a free pass to get to experience love again.
