Chapter Four

Moon Ga-Young took in a deep breath. She didn't want to cause a scene 'cos,

1. She was classy

2. There were a lot of celebs in there.

3. There was paparazzi

After she made her mental note, she thoroughly focused on the show. But the girl sitting beside her was getting her annoyed with every comment that came out of her mouth.

'That dress is too short'

'The dress she's wearing would look better on the other model'

Even though it had been three years since you- know- what happened. She just couldn't get over the fact that Sophie could do that to her. In Hollywood's eyes, Sophie was the pure white lotus whiles Moon Ga-Young was the dead rotten flower. After two hours, the show ended and Moon Ga-Young made her way to Camari who was inside still changing. She went into the room to see Camari still in the skirt she modelled in and her bra. "Cami, you did good. I'm soo proud of you. Gosh you looked soo beautiful walking on the runway". Moon Ga-Young praised and Camari laughed. "Well thanks if you think I really did well".

"Uh hey Moon, you know Orabella right?". Camari asked all of a sudden. "Yeah I do. Isn't she your older sister?". Moon Ga-Young replied. Orabella, Camari's older sister never liked Moon Ga-Young. Moon Ga-Young herself didn't even know why. But one time, Orabella herself said Moon Ga-Young was befriending Camari because of her popularity. Like what the hell? Didn't she know the Moon family? Didn't she know that Moon Ga-Young was the eldest in the Moon household?. But it was all in the past now. It had been ten years since Moon Ga-Young last saw Orabella and she believed maybe Orabella would change her mind about her. "Uh hellooo". Camari snapped her fingers in Moon Ga-Young's face. "Mmm". "I asked if you knew Orabella". Camari reminded. "Oh yeah yeah, I do". Moon Ga-Young replied. "Okay good. We're going to pick her up tomorrow from the airport. She's coming from Italy". Camari explained. Just then Moon Ga-Young's phone rang. She took it out of her purse and checked the caller. Madam Moon. Ofcourse it was her mother. Mrs. Moon would only call when she needed something from her oldest daughter.

"What took you so long to pick up, huh? Are you trying to disrespect your mother?". The older woman screeched over the phone. Her voice getting louder and harsher. Moon Ga-Young held the phone away from her ears. One day this woman was going to destroy her eardrums. Mrs. Moon rambled on Moon Ga-Young's lateness to pick up the phone early and making her wait longer than meeded. After a few non stop insults from the older woman, Moon Ga-Young couldn't handle it anymore. "Please reach your conclusion, Mother Dearest". "You pompous prat-". "Yes, yes I know. I'm a disgrace. I wasn't supposed to happen and you wish you didn't give birth to me twenty years ago. We've already established that". Moon Ga-Young said the older woman's words before she could even continue her sentence.

Every unpleasant stabbing of reality was given by her mother. The woman was wicked and ruthless and showed no love to her eldest daughter. Instead she focused all her attention and love on her prized daughter, the perfect star of the Moon family; Moon Yu- Jun. " Your younger sister's birthday is coming up. Make sure to show some face by coming". Mrs. Moon harshly brought out. As much as she despised her eldest daughter, she was extremely useful. She was able to have the backings of the terrifying man, Alexander Bassel. The owner of Bassel Corporation and the man with the highest shares in the company. Mrs. Moon hates to admit it but her older daughter was quite the brainac. Cultivating a special relationship with the cold hearted man at age five, she had a perfectly safe room in his cold heart.

"Are you sure you really want me there? I could transfer this call to Great Uncle since that was your ultimate plan". Moon Ga-Young hummed inspecting her nails. Mrs. Moon nearly fell of the chair she was sitting on. In true Mrs. Moon fashion, it was her true purpose to invite Moon Ga-Young to lure Alexander out. If Moon Ga-Young went to the banquet alone, he would think she could be in danger and so he would make his way there. And having a man like Alexander at your banquet, be sure to get a lot of cash falling in your back account. Out of all his great nieces and nephews, Moon Ga-Young was his favourite. Mrs. Moon didn't know how her eldest daughter was able to take on his favour and love but she effortlessly did so. If it wasn't because of Alexander, Mrs. Moon would have never called her daughter.

"You spoiled brat! I raised you for twenty years with my own sweat, blood and tears and this is how you talk to me?!". Mrs. Moon slammed her hand on the table beside her. "Oh please Mother. We all know that's not true. You held me once in your life and handed me off to nanny after nanny. Then when I could finally walk and talk, you threw money in my face". Moon Ga-Young rolled her eyes at her mother's scripted story. It was no rumour that Mrs. Moon didn't like her first child. Moon Ga-Young was born when her parents relationship was extremely rocky. By then, they didn't want to get married but their parents pressured them to do so. Moon Ga-Young was born on the night of non- consensual s*x. Whiles Moon Yu - Jun's birth signified the well being of their marriage. "How dare you show such despicable attitude towards your mother? I might not have raised you but I did carry you in my stomach for nine antagonizing months. I pushed your big head out of me so show some respect". Mrs. Moon harshly bit out.

Sometimes she wondered what she had done wrong to get a daughter like Moon Ga-Young. "Yu- Jun's birthday is a week from now. I'll be expecting you there". Mrs. Moon had realised how quiet the other side of the phone had become. Ha! she finally talked some sense into the girl's ears. After a few minutes of awkward silence, Mrs. Moon got angry. Was she even listening to what she was saying?! " Did you hear me". The older woman screeched. "Yes Mother, I did". Moon Ga-Young sighed.

"Besides you know how much-". Just like that, Moon Ga-Young hunged up. Moon Ga-Young knew what her mother was about to say.

Moon Yu - Jun loved her? Hahaha, that would win an Oscar for how funny that was. Moon Yu - Jun wouldn't love her older sister even if her life depended on it.
