"So what did the Wicked Witch of The West want". Moon Ga-Young laughed at the name her best friend had given to her mother. "She called to tell me about Yu- Jun's birthday party". Moon Ga-Young said. "And... are you going". Camari asked. "Well, she's kinda forcing me to go. So yes I will". Moon Ga-Young replied. "If you're going to the banquet, you need something suitable to blow that stupid man out of his mind". Moon Ga-Young nearly dropped her phone when she heard Camari's voice. She had forgotten she was with Camari because of her mother. "Like a date? If yes then, good luck finding a man like that because Rashford is one of the richest billonaires in New York if not the world". Moon Ga-Young said her mind. "Who said anything about a date? You're coming with us". Camari said in her no nonsense voice. "And by us do you mean you, Ace and Orabella?". Moon Ga-Young asked. "Mhmm". Her friend nodded.
"I'm sorry I disturbed you. Was my conversation that loud that you could even hear it?". Moon Ga-Young said to Camari as the models made their way outside the room to their homes. Moon Ga-Young and Camari also made their way outside as Camari was in respectable clothes. "No, I'm just a really good listener. And besides, who would not be disturbed if they heard the nasal voice of Maria". Camari muttered and Moon Ga-Young laughed. The two friends talked and talked until they reached Moon Ga-Young's condo. They made their way towards her unit. As they entered, Camari said," This place is too lifeless. Are you sure you live here". Camari stared at Moon Ga-Young removing her shoes and putting it at its rightful place. If it was the seventeen year old Moon Ga-Young, she would have left it carelessly for the house help to put it where it belonged. It was such a soothing sight for her eyes. She did not look like the girl she used to be three years ago.
"You really need to stop doing these things. You're an heiress. Someone has to do this for you". Camari said after a while. " What if your hands get rough". She added and Moon Ga-Young gave her a sad smile. "I used to be an heiress. Now I'm not. Besides, a woman has to learn how to manage her house". Camari gave her a smile. She couldn't believe how her friend had changed for the greater good. She really wanted to know what happened that night three years ago. "You i***t, you're good at many things. Why don't you want to use your talents". Camari told her friend. "I'm good at it because my mother and father wanted me to". Moon Ga-Young said sitting down on the couch and told Camari to sit beside her. "Don't lie to me. I know you enjoyed it".
"Perhaps to some extent. Yes I did". Moon Ga-Young smiled, remember her younger self. "But you were so good at fashion designing and jewellery making...". Camari trailed off. Camari remembered when she saw Moon Ga-Young drawing in a book. It was a romper with a train on the sides of it. She had asked Moon Ga-Young whether she wanted to be a fashion designer and Moon Ga-Young nodded. But as she grew, Moon Ga-Young's opinions started changing. Her mother put her into a modelling agency and that was when the journey started. When she noticed how Camari was quiet, Moon Ga-Young made her way into her room to change. About ten minutes later, she came out in an oversized drew hoodie and Nike sweatpants. When Camari saw Moon Ga-Young, she wanted to pry information from what happened three years ago. Camari missed seeing the girl who confidently laughed without giving a damn, the girl who wore anything she liked without giving a f**k what people thought of her. She fumed silently. That bastard, Rashford Brown. He really had the audacity to room around with his little minx while her friend was suffering. He even had the audacity to destroy everything about her after cheating on her with a low - class female who couldn't even stand up in this dog - eat - dog world on her own.
Moon Ga-Young had her entire life built around the very man who shattered her. From a young age, Moon Ga-Young was told that she was engaged to Rashford even before she was a month old. She was trained on how to become his comfort when he was stressed, how to run a billion dollar company and how to be a perfect wife. The endless nights she had becuase she didn't want to make a single mistake. Only for it to go down the rabbit hole in an hour. In just an hour, Moon Ga-Young's life was ruined because Rashford had left her for a random low class woman he supposedly fell in love with. Camari didn't realize as she was in her trance, Moon Ga-Young had whipped up some DIY food she saw on YouTube and wanted to try it. Technically, it went well. Camari made her way to the table on which her friend had placed the food on.
After eating and enjoying dinner with Moon Ga-Young, Camari went to sleep in Moon Ga-Young's bedroom. After a while, she also went to sleep.
Camari woke Moon Ga-Young up. "Cami, let me sleep for a little bit". Moon Ga-Young snuggled into the bed sheets. "Wake up and go take a shower. We have to go and pick Ora from the airport". Camari harshly tugged at the blankets. With that said, Moon Ga-Young frowned waking up to go to the bathroom. She realised Camari had already been dressed. She brushed her teeth and took a shower. She settled for a white tank top, tight jeans, leather boots and a leather jacket paired with a Prada bag and her favourite hoop earrings whiles Camari wore a black t - shirt, short jean shorts, black knee high boots and a black Korean cap. With that, they made their way to the airport. In an hour and fifty minutes, they were at the airport waiting for Orabella's plane to land. A teenage girl saw Moon Ga-Young and squealed which attracted a lot of attention to the girls. The girl immediately asked for a selfie with Camari and also a selfie with Moon Ga-Young. Whiles the girls were busily taking photos with fans, Orabella's plane landed. She made her way out of the plane walking confidently with her trailing bag behind her. As Orabella saw the fans asking photos from Moon Ga-Young, she realised the girl wasn't using her little sister's popularity and kindness for her own selfish needs. Orabella made her way towards the girls and Camari was the first one to notice. She practically jumped into her sister's arms and hugged her. "C-can't breath...". Orabella patted her sister's back and Camari realised she had been squeezing her sister tightly. Whiles Moon Ga-Young stood there awkwardly as she didn't know what to do. She wished she and Moon Yu -Jun were like that but that's like a crab giving birth to a bird. Impossible. "I believe you're the oh so great Moon Ga-Young my sister has been telling me about". Orabella said to Moon Ga-Young. She cleared her throat. "Yes, yes. I am. Nice to meet you. In the past we butted heads but now I'm sure we can be friends don't you think". Moon Ga-Young confidently said and Orabella immediately cursed herself for not befriending the girl before. She wasn't like the other people who stuttered when the spook to her. And Orabella realised, maybe she will have fun in New York after all.
