Emma's gaze toward Nancy changed subtly, her expression hardening just slightly. Nancy noticed her own nerves creeping up and grew both nervous and irritated. "It's just a small project, barely over a hundred million. What's the harm in giving Bernard a chance? You can't just write him off for the rest of his life because of his past mistakes." Emma didn't respond. She remained silent, unwilling to speak. Nancy's impatience grew, and she didn't let the silence linger for too long. "I know what you're thinking," she continued, her tone now tight with irritation. "You're worried I'm getting too close to them. But no matter what, Bernard is my nephew. They've come to me for help, and even though they're not part of our family, what's wrong with lending them a hand? It's no big deal." Emma
