The sudden question caught Allen off guard, "Why would you ask that?"
A long-haired secretary wearing glasses glanced at the tightly closed office door and whispered, "Mr. Howard actually greeted us today; he actually said 'hello!'"
Allen was also taken aback.
This morning, Mr. Howard had said the same to him! Right when he got out of the car to open the door for Mr. Howard.
Moreover, he not only said "hello," but he even said "thank you."
Allen thought of Miss Emma Anderson, whom he had seen that morning. He really didn't know she had such a significant influence on the president; it must all be because of her.
However, this was something they couldn't mention to anyone. He reassured the concerned secretaries, "It's nothing special, don't worry, just focus on your work."
