It had been hours since I put Austin to bed. Just a few minutes after he ate breakfast, drowsiness overtook his system, and finally went fast asleep with a smile on his face. This day was one of his happiest days because their team had won the football game. It was only a small game but he felt like he won the Super Bowl tournament. I, on the other hand, was pacing back and forth in the living area. What the hell would I do? That jerk Hogue was really serious about exposing me and Natalia to the public. They didn't even cover up my face like he originally promised! He really wanted to see me embarrassed because of what I did to him. My mind was so clouded with panic and confusion that I didn't notice someone approaching. I even gasped when a soft hand landed on my shoulder, halting me.
