Donald knew that he had to make a good impression on Jennifer's parents if he wanted to win them over. He decided to take initiative and show them that he was serious about his future.

"I was thinking of taking some extra classes to improve my skills in music," Donald said to Jennifer, as they sat in her dorm room. "That way, I can show my parents that I'm committed to my craft."

Jennifer's eyes lit up with excitement. "That's a great idea!" she said. "I'll talk to my parents and see if we can set up a meeting with them to discuss your plans."

Donald's determination paid off, and Jennifer's parents agreed to meet with him again. This time, Donald was prepared. He had practiced his speech and was ready to showcase his passion for music.
