*Stars POV*

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* 6:00AM. “UGH.” I feel like I’m in one of those movies that the days repeat itself over and over. Rubbing my face I throw myself out of my warm bed to once again get ready for school. Sighing, I do my morning routine before pulling my hair into a high ponytail and getting dressed for the day. Today I am going to be cute, dressed in a pair of dark denim bell bottom jeans and a white crop top showing my dangly star belly ring paired with white ankle boots.

My mom went to the gym early today so Lilly and Megan are picking me up. Doing light make up consisting of eye brows, and high light with some pink gloss on my lips. Being a she-wolf has its perks, my natural lashes are full and long so I never need mascara or lashes.

Hearing a car honk outside I grab my bag and head out the front door locking it behind me. Hopping into Lillys back seat was a hassle because I had to jump, being short is the best. *sarcasm*

**At the cafeteria in school**

“Why is it every time I want pancakes we have Biscuits and sausage gravy?!” Complained Bret, Lillies mate. They had just turned 18 over summer break and found each other during schedule pick up a few weeks ago. Now they are inseparable… well most of the time! Their bond is very strong and they are already voted cutest couple for year book this year! Bret Mathew is future alpha Masons best friend, along with Tyler Rogers. They will be the future Beta and Gamma as well, alongside Mason, they are a deadly trio.

Averting my gaze from the couple quickly as they begin kissing each others faces, I get up and walk to the breakfast line to get some food. While reaching for some fruit I feel someone slam into my shoulder knocking me to the floor. I winced ready for the pain to surface once the tile connects with my body, but it doesn’t come as someone snatches me out of mid air, holding me in their arms before quickly letting me go. Looking up I see the dark eyes of none other then Riley Mitchels. The biggest jerk of Crescent Moon Packs jocks pulls me up easily as if I match the weight of a feather.

“Watch where you are going next time,” Riley exclaimed rudely as his voice rises, “next time I wont be so nice about it!”

Turning around quickly I fast walk back to my table and shake my head trying to forget what just happened so it doesn’t ruin the rest of my day.

**Chem Class**

*Mason POV*

Walking into class I get hit with that infatuating smell of wild roses. Ever since my 18th birthday Iv known who my mate is, but how could I want her, she was nothing like my type. The moon Goddess messed up with mating me to this she-wolf.

“i***t!” Shiloh, my wolf yelled in my head.

“How am I the i***t?” I exclaim back with irritation clear in my tone.

“She is our mate, there is no changing that, Alpha or not we will be weak without her!” Shiloh growls.

“Im not going to argue with you!” I shout back before blocking him out.

Ugh. Why cant he understand why she cant be my mate and luna to this pack? Thinking back to my birthday, I remember walking into the pack house and walking back to the pool. Everyone was already partying and playing music very loudly, so no one really noticed I was there except my close friends. Thats until Rebecca started singing Happy Birthday so loud it made me cringe. Everyone joined her eventually and my friends were clapping me on the back. I shifted when I was 14, usually we shift on our 16th birthday, but because I am alpha blood I shifted early. After the singing was over I hurried inside to get a drink. Upon walking through the kitchen door I got hit with this irresistible mind boggling scent.

“Mate!” Shiloh groaned in my head so loudly it made me wince. Looking around for the source of the scent, I see a small she-wolf standing against the wall with a cup in hand, looking down at her phone.

“She doesn’t know, she isn’t of age yet.” Shiloh cries softly.

“Oh No,” I quickly turn around and bolt out of the pack house, away from the party and away from my mate.

I don’t know whats going to happen when she turns 18 this week and realizes I am her mate. She will surely reject me as I haven’t always been the nicest to her.

*Flashback*

Running through the hall throwing a football to Tyler at least 30 feet away, a small she wolf walks out into the hall way, clearly oblivious to her surroundings. As the ball spirals right into the side of her face, it throws her to the ground with a thud and a shriek. Tyler runs up and starts yelling at the she wolf to watch where shes going as he snatches the ball from beside her. I stood there laughing as Tyler bullied this tiny she wolf as if she was in the wrong. That day I didn’t feel bad, I don’t know if its the mate bond causing me to be disappointed in myself as future alpha to allow such shenanigans to happen consistently. Tyler was always pushing around the smaller wolves in the pack, he was bigger and stronger then most. If my father found out, he would ring my tail.

*End Of Flashback*

Classes were uneventful today, except when someone tripped Star causing Shiloh to throw a whole hissy fit in my head. I fought for control as he tried to take over to comfort Star. She had hit her arm on a desk causing a huge red mark to form, already turning purple within the next few minutes.

The bell rings signaling the end of the school day, Star is the first one up and out of the classroom. Clearly trying to avoid anymore teasing from the other students. As soon as she was out of sight and ear shot Shiloh stole control and he snatched Thomas Presley up and out of his seat. Before he could say anything Shiloh growled at him “stay away from Star, this is your only warning!” Before dropping him to the floor and walking out the door.

Dropping the control I quickly take it back as I scream at him “what did you just do?!”

“I did what you should have!” He was livid now and even I could tell to stop before this escalates and I rage out.

Racing outside I run for the tree line, darting behind a tree I take off my clothes and shift. Bolting into the woods I allow Shiloh to take over so he can release some steam as well, completely prepared to take back control if anything happens. We ran for a while until we reached a creek, looking down into the water I catch my reflection before slurping up some water. My wolf will always surprise me. With dark brown curls and bright blue eyes you wouldn’t expect my wolf to have black fur and pure blue eyes with a glowing white ring around the pupils. Inwardly smirking I turn and head back to the tree where I shifted to head home.

Ready for today to be over I ran upstairs and jumped right into my king sized bed, ready for sleep to envelope me. However my mind had different plans as Star in her bikini at the lake popped up every time I close my eyes. Why does she come back 10 times stronger the harder I push her away.
