Hi, I'm Alex and I want to tell you about my high school experience.
I attend Westwood high. It's a really nice school and it could be much better if some of the kids would stop damaging it with their garbage. Just animals. Anyways lets start the story. Yay!

It Thursday and its time to get to school but like every other day i'm late. I live right across from school but i'm always late. I get to school and immediately I see my four best friends, Adrian, Cal, Josiah and Kathy. I hug everyone of them and we all have the same classes. Anyways lets jump forward.
{This story talks about having a crush on a best friend}
I have been told that I just never know when someone likes me. Let me explain.
One day, Kathy and I are playing basketball and I just couldn't get the ball in so Josiah came over and helped me. He stood behind me and his hands touched my hands and we threw the ball together. But I just thought he was just being a good friend.
Another situation was when I was just coming back from my program and he was coming back from basketball practice. It was freezing cold and I forgot my jacket. He came over really close to me and took off his jacket and put it on me. But I still didn't think anything of this but my heart kinda sped up a bit.
The next week, I was late to lunch and the cafe was closed and he told me he saved me a tray with food, and I could say that I fell a bit but only for that moment then it went away. I think it was mostly because he is just so nice. That same day I wore his coat again and he told my friend that I looked super cute in the jacket. But I think I heard him wrong.
I didn't realize it but I was falling for my best friend and I didn't want to because then I would have to choose between friendship and liking someone.
One month of constant flirting he told me he liked me and I told him I wanted time to think about it. The next day, I told him no because I didn't want to ruin our friendship if we were to break up and he told me that that day would never happen. After trying to convince me a lot, I gave in and we started dating but I still had fears of losing our friendship.
{4 YEARS LATER}
Josiah and I have been together for 4 years now and still so happy I decided to say yes to dating him.
And that's my high school experience.
