Chapter 2: Identity

She looked at me with disbelief."That's your f*****g plan? Are you kidding me?"
She ruled her voice inside my room but my facial expression remained blank.
"What's your plan then?" I asked.
She thinks for a while then exclaimed, "I will pretend as your sister!"
That's ridiculous.
"Everyone knows I have no sister. Don't make this much harder for me." I said while scanning her without blinking.
Just like what I visualized, she's taller than other women most of our age. She's got that full lips and tantalizing eyes. It is much expressive compare to mine which's so dull in my perspective.
Suddenly, looking at her makes my heart beats excitedly.
"So what? Who the hell cares about what they f*****g think!?" She ranted.
"I do."
"Definitely, not. You can't fool me." She rolled her eyes then flipped her hair.
"I don't fool around."
"Whatever!" She walked out of the room.
I got to school so early in the morning but our first class is at 10:00 AM.
I like the view of this school. It's very refreshing because of the surrounding trees and other flowery plants.
But I like the scenery of the football field specifically, though I have never played football in my entire life.
The breeze is touching my skin so tenderly but it still cannot give me the comfort that I want for my entire life.
I don't know what the f**k is happening in my life right now. What's the meaning of all of this?
I am trying to move on from the past but seeing her came to life would probably never made me moved on.
I don't know why but I can't just make myself be completely honest with her.
What will she do if I tell her that she's just a mere character from a novel but now she came to life?
It would probably make her nuts.
"Hi! We're in the same group, right?" A girl from our class approached me.
"Can I sit beside you?" She added.
"Whatever you want," I responded.
"By the way, do you know that girl? Are you somewhat related to her?"
She asked curiously.
"That's none of your business."
She chuckled. "I knew you would say that. Anyway, what about we do our first group project on our house?"
She glared at me with so much hope.
"I'm not comfortable."
"In your house, perhaps?"
"It's ok as long as it's only the four of us. No inviting other friends." I said in a serious manner.
"DEAL!" She exclaimed excitedly.
"Wait, do you know where she lives?"
"Who?"
"That girl who's so obsessed with you, of course." She laughed a bit but stopped when she saw that my face remained serious.
"In my house."
"THE HELL?! AS IN?" She looks so surprised by that information.
"Do I look like I'm lying to you?"
"NO!NO! Of course, you're not lying and I believe you." She said defensively.
"I just got surprised that she really got you, huh? Anyway, Congratulations to both of you..." Her tone suddenly sounded sad.
"And when did I told you that we're together?"
I'm bored right now. Why did people always misinterpret your words?
"Oh! Sorry...sorry, I assumed! You're single then?" She asked in a flirty tone.
As I was about to answer her question, some of our classmates approached us and they start teasing us.
"We didn't know that the two of you are close!"
"OMG!"
"You look good with each other!"
"Hey, stop...We're not that close yet. But we can be closed for the time being." She whispered with a giggle.
They teased us even more but the teasing stopped when Entice suddenly showed up with a big smile on her lips.
"What's up?" She asked everyone with enthusiasm.
Suddenly, everyone looks uncomfortable.
"Oh! Don't tell me you are all talking behind my back?"
She raised an eyebrow while smiling from ear to ear to everyone.
"Of course not! It's not like that Entice!" One of the girls named Keneisha defended.
"What is it then? What are you all talking about? It seems fun, let me join you all!"
She giggled excitedly.
"They are teasing me with Keen actually."
Samantha said shyly.
Suddenly, the genuine smile from Entice's lips disappeared. But then, it changed into a cocky smile instead and teased us.
"Why? Are you together? Finally, my cousin is dating someone, huh?!"
She exclaimed in a teasing manner.
Everyone looks confused by her remarks.
"COUSIN?!" They almost asked in unison.
They look so dumbfounded.
Entice laughed out loud.
"Why are you guys so shocked?"
She asked mischievously. She then tucks a strand of her hair behind her ears.
"For real? Like as in!?"
"I thought they're together or at least they have something, you know."
Someone whispered.
"That's the reason why you should be careful with your words. Not everything you thought you knew, you really knew it all."
I said as I walked out of the place.
But before I completely left that place, I heard Entice say something. "As I said, we're cousins and I am Entice Jules Montenegro..."
I flinched.
