ALEXANDER’S POV The engine roared beneath my grip as I tightened my hands around the steering wheel, my knuckles turning white. I could barely see the road. Not because of the night, but because of the fury and anger blinding me. My chest burned, my pulse a wild, uncontrollable thing. I could still see Rose laying small against the hospital bed, too pale and too still. It triggered so much anger in me for reasons I could not clearly understand.
