Sitting behind a movie and screening through her phone at the same time, became the new normal for Patricia. Being the hardworking girl that she was, Patricia decided to setup a business in order to keep herself busy. She ended up setting an online shop where she sold clothes. Within a short period of time, she was making enough profit and this made her friends envy her more. Unlike most of her friend, parties weren't her thing. She just couldn't wait to be admitted to her dream university. It was a sunny and hot afternoon and our dear sister who never goes out decided to go to an eatery with a close friend from high school. She was already running late and her friend had been calling to inform her that she was already at the location. "Ping" "ping" was a text message notice on her phone. She was thinking it was her friend so she decided to ignore the text and get to her as early as possible.
"What kept you from reaching here on time" her friend retorted angrily. "I'm soo sorry I had to parcel some orders to be delivered to some of my customers". "It's okay I'm famished, let's get something to eat" in her friends voice. They ordered for their food and gisted while eating. Back home after a wonderful day, she went straight to bed.
The next morning she was skimming through her phone lazily when she ponded on the text, "DEAR MS PATRICIA, YOU HAVE GAINED ADIMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF CAPE COAST"..... screaming on top of her voice, her parents barged into her room asking what was wrong. She pointed to her phone because she had lost her voice out of shock. Her parents read the text on her phone and gave her a group hug which ended in tears of joy.
Preparing for school is hectic but knowing for a fact that you are stepping into university is a whole mood changer. She kept on receiving calls from her mates asking if she had gained admission and she gladly shared the good news with them. Patty knew how to cook very well and she also took care of all the house chores so her parents were certain that she could take care of herself and weren't really bothered. Business was moving soo well and fast that Patty began to feel like a billionaire. Weeks passed by soo quickly and guess what, the day to report for school was also here. On campus with her parents concluding all formalities, guess who got cold feet, Patty. She was soo nervous and it got intense when she realized that some guys were staring at her without blinking and just when it was time for her to bid her parents goodbye she felt like she was going to die already. She had a lot of questions on her mind about how she was going to cope without her parents since college is not like high school but she was sure she could push through with time.
Who were her roommates? Were they like her or they were the direct opposite? Would her roommates influence her in any way? Let's find out..
