"What's the mile-high club?" Her innocence was something that got to me. Given her circumstances, one would think that she was a wild girl, but I have it on good authority that she was never one to be wild. In fact, the one time she wanted to be wild was when she came to the club. That was also when we met.
"Telling is no fun at all. I'm going to show you." She rolled her eyes and looked out the window. Maybe she thought I forgot about it, because by the time the light changed to green and it was okay to unbuckle, she had busied herself with the movie options.
"I thought you wanted to nap."
"In a minute." I knew she would get bored soon enough and she would give up, so I let her be while I reflected on the events of the past two days.
