WINTER'S POV
I woke up this morning with a strange sense of unease. Kaden had woken me up earlier to tell me he was going to work. For some reason, I was sleepier than usual and cranky. I know it had something to do with my oncoming menstrual cycle. I rarely ever got cramps, but my premenstrual mood swings were out of this world. Jane thought I was lucky that I rarely ever got cramps, and I do think so. Jane's monthly cycle was something we both dreaded. She dreaded it because of the pain, and I dreaded it because it pained me to see her in pain.
It got really bad one time that we had to go to the hospital and ran some tests. Thankfully, it wasn't a symptom of anything, so that was one thing to be relieved about.
