When I got home and walked into my room after getting home from having coffee with Kaden, I was taken by surprise when I saw Avery laying on her stomach on my bed, scrolling through her phone.  "Avery," I sighed, walking in and placing my bag down. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"  Avery laughed as she sat up in my bed, crossing her legs in her lap. She gave me a forced, wide smile, "Where were you today, sister?"  I forced a tight-lipped smile, "I was out. Getting coffee. I didn't realize you would take so much interest in my day."  Avery laughed dryly, "I am not interested in your day, I'm interested in knowing who you were with."  I clenched my teeth, still smiling fake-ly.
