"You're leaving the house in that?" I looked up from the coffee I was pouring in a mug for myself to give my mother a confused look. "What?" I didn't even know if she was talking to me. My dad looked up from his newspaper he was reading at the table, perching his head up so he could glance between me and my mom through his glasses, unsure of what was happening. My mother was standing on the other side of the counter, placing her tablet in her bag. She looked at me from head to toe, "What you're wearing, it looks like you just woke up from a long sleep on economy class during a 20 hour flight - God forbid you actually go to the airport in those clothes."
