Chapter 16

The morning got with it happiness, joy, and peace for many. They all were very excited about their departure. They had a flight at 11. While the couple, Daina, Edna, and Eama would be leaving at the same time. The couple was going to Switzerland. They all had their breakfast together and moved towards the airport.

After a 30mins journey, they reached the airport. They moved out of their cars and all were in tears thinking of their separation again. Zoe immediately hugged Imara and said," we couldn't even spend some quality time together and now I have to leave for 20days again. You promise me that you won't be going anywhere and meet me after I come back and then we will have our best friend's time. Promise me!"

"I promise Zoe. we will surely meet again that too very soon. You now stop crying and enjoy your honeymoon but yeah I don't wanna be an aunt soon so please control yourselves", said Imara. Listening to her last statement everyone burst into laughter while the couple was blushing. After hugging each other and promising to meet soon they all moved inside.

The gang boarded their plane and sat on their respective seats. To Zubin's luck, Imara was sitting exactly beside him. They held each other's hands and were busy watching a movie. It was a 4-hour flight from Udaipur to Goa with a stopover in between. They enjoyed it together. They watched movies, listened to songs, and cuddled each other. They were trying to make up for the 8 years loss.

Enjoying and talking about everything to nothing they reached Goa and after checking out they moved outside to see a man holding a board of Zubin's name. He was the driver who came to pick them up as a representative of the hotel in which they are supposed to stay.

The reached the Resort de Palolem where they were supposed to stay. The resort was one of the most famous places for tourists to stay. They have booked their 5 rooms as decided and after taking their respective room keys they decided to change and rest for some time than directly have their snacks in the evening. After giving each other a quick hug they all moved towards their rooms.

After reaching her room Imara changed herself and picked up her phone to call someone. She was quite tensed about something. "Hello! How are are you? Do you mind if I take this break? If the situation is serious I don't mind coming back. Yeah, I could complete my work and then take a break. What do you say? Okay, then you are sure about it? Cool I'll see you in few days", said Imara. After getting relaxed she moved towards her bed and decided to have a nap.

On the other side, everyone too decided to take a nap while for Zubin he after changing moved towards the garden area and started looking at the preparations. He has set the entire timetable for their stay. He wanted to do everything that his Imara liked. After looking at the preparation he moved towards his room and slept for some time.

Everyone met at the restaurant attached to their resort and started having their evening snacks while discussing their day. "What is the plan Zubin?", questioned Aaliyah.

"For now we would be going to Colomb beach. It is very near to our resort and there we could see the sunset and enjoy it for the rest of the evening. A party is supposed to take place at the beach and I have bought tickets for us", said Zubin excitedly.

After completing their food they moved towards their room and after Changing into a beach outfit they moved out to see Zubin sitting in the jeep and waiting for them to come. Everyone settled in the jeep and they moved towards the beach. They were mesmerized with the view in front of them. The beach was extremely beautiful. They all sat on the stone and started talking about everything.

Zubin was holding Imara's hand and has covered it with his jacket but this was unfortunately seen by Aaliyah who was shocked with the view. She was having no idea about the development between them. She indicated Aamber to look at the scene and she was shocked as well. With an eye conversation, they decided something.

"Guys, we will have a walk around the beach. Imara why don't you join us? what will you do with the boys? Boys you talk about something or the other and we will join you in some time", said Aamber with a smile, and after taking Imara's hand she moved away from them. The boys were totally confused with their sudden action but chucked it.

"Guys, what's wrong? You both literally pulled me like I was about to run away", questioned Imara totally confused. "Ahh.. nothing! We just wanted to talk about something and why can't we talk", said Aaliyah. "It's nothing like that. We are best friends and we can definitely talk", explained Imara. " Oh, best friends? I never knew Bestfriends keep secrets?", Aamber questioned sarcastically.

"What? I haven't kept any secrets. Why will I even keep?", questioned Imara. "I'll directly come to the point. What's going on between you and Zubin?", Said, Aaliyah. "Nothing guys, what would be going on between us?", Said Imara nervously. "We saw you holding hands with him and he talking about Goa and then taking the responsibility of planning everything for us clearly gives us the answer", said Aamber.

"Yes, especially when he doesn't like taking responsibilities like this because according to him he couldn't enjoy but here he took it willingly. We know the reason too, for you right?", explained Aaliyah. "Guys, he has asked for forgiveness. With that, he confessed his feelings for me. He is trying to get back to me. I am giving it a try because, in the end, he is my love", explained Imara softly.

"Oh is it? What is the guarantee that he is not going to hurt you again? Last time what we all had to pay the cost. What if he is again here for his so-called games?", questioned Aaliyah angrily. "Aaliyah, he is not going to do that and about me forgiving him it's not done. I love him but then that's not the end. The amount of sufferings I had is not allowing me to forgive him", said Imara.

"I am taking the time and he is just asking me a chance so that he can pay for all the tears I shed. He is like he can't erase the bad memories but he can make new happy memories that would replace them. After thinking a lot I gave him a chance but we are not in any relationship", explained Imara.

"When you love him and he is reciprocating it then what's the issue?", asked Aamber. "Guys, I have many secrets in my life. My 8 years are totally secret and no one knows about it except Abraham. It is not as easy as you think. And right now I am living with the biggest secret and before you ask I'll tell you about it on the last day", said Imara with a smile.

After that, they started walking with their hands entwined and talking about everything under the sun. After a long time, they are talking about their lives.

While on the side Zubin was looking at the sea and was thinking about his life. His trance was broken by Abraham's voice. "So any development?", questioned Abraham. " Development? In what?", Asked Zubin confused. "Your relationship with immu", said Abraham.

"What? How do you know?, asked Zubin impatiently. "Well for starters I knew something was going on between you both. Umm, you coming out of her room early morning. Then she came and told everything that places between you both and thus I know everything", explained Abraham.

Listening to him Zubin was angry that Imara shares everything with him but he knew he is her best friend and he was there for his Imara when she was all alone fighting for her life. "oh! I have asked for a chance to prove my love and apologize for my mistake. It is a sin and I know I don't deserve her but still, I love her a lot.", Said Zubin.

"I am selfish Abraham I want her for my Survival. I'll do everything that is in my control to make her feel happy and loved. I'll be there for her forever. I know you would think I am coming in between you both" said Zubin.

"Ahh... no Imara is the only girl I have loved all my life and love doesn't mean that the person stays with you. Love means letting the person go. Love means seeing the person you love to be happy with someone else. For me, it's not about falling in love but it's about growing in love", explained Abraham.

" If Imara is happy with you then no one can take her away from you and that's my promise but if she is not then I'll see to it that you never reach her. She is also having the secret that is holding her back so I guess she would tell you about it in some time", said Abraham.

"You know about the secret?", Asked Zubin curiously. "Of course buddy, I was there with her when she was doing that", said Abraham. Before they could talk about it they say the girls coming there laughing on something. They all moved towards the other side of the beach where the party was supposed to take place.

The night went with them dancing, playing, partying, and drinking. They met new people and made new friends. They had the best party that night after so many years. Zubin and Imara the together left for a walk after informing their friends.

They were sitting on the rock snuggling into each other and sharing about their life. After spending hours on the beach they moved towards the resort and then into their rooms respectively.
