CHAPTER 5: UNUSUALNESS

"Okay, it's enough for today's lesson. You're allowed to take a break."

Everyone cheered since break time was the most anticipated moment in school. Bella closed her book and tidied up the stationery on her table. She looked everywhere, finding a certain person.

"Greg!"

Bella shout for Greg and everyone turned their heads. She ran toward Greg, heading outside the class as well.

"Bel! Where are you going?! Don't leave me!" Sherla yelled but sadly was ignored by Bella.

"Greg, how about we go to the cafeteria together?"

Everyone was surprised to hear Bella's words. It was unusual to see Bella say such things to Greg, not Marco.

"Errr… are you seriously asking me out?" Greg confusedly asked Bella.

Bella shook her head.

"Why? I am asking you. Is there anyone else in this class who is named Greg?" Bella replied.

"You usually ask Marco out instead of me," said Greg.

Bella sighed, "I'm asking you, handsome. I told you that I'm gonna treat you to some meals at the cafeteria yesterday."

"But~," said Greg while glancing at Marco who was sitting down in his seat.

"You're slow!"

Bella pulled Greg's hand and went outside the classroom, heading for the cafeteria. Everyone looked at them curiously while they were walking.

"After Marco failed, Greg is her target," said Frans who was still surprised after seeing Bella and Greg walk together.

Marco could only stare blankly and didn't say anything. On the other side, there was a girl who angrily clenched her palm without anyone noticing. It seemed she didn't like to see Bella get close to Greg either.

The news was spread quickly through the entire school as if a flame was engulfing everything so fast. Bella didn't care, anyway. She only thought that she must treat Greg well as an apology after the incident that happened yesterday.

"Eat as much as you want, Greg," said Bella while providing Greg with pasta he ordered oftentimes.

"Why are you so nice all of a sudden? Everyone can misunderstand this, y'know."

"Whatever. I'm used to ignoring people's opinions."

Greg couldn't say anything after heard what Bella said and continued to eat. He then stared at the Valconoes who ate at the usual table. The Valconoes also saw him as well from the other side.

"Look, if I sit here beside you, it only makes the situation worse," explained Greg. But as usual, Bella didn't give a damn about it.

"Meh, I already have a bad reputation for a long time, don't I?"

Greg didn't know what to say anymore after hearing what Bella just said. Bella put a piece of money on the table and stood up, ready to leave the cafeteria.

"Don't think too far. I just wanted to fulfill my promise to you, that's all."

Bella left with an annoyed expression. She just wanted to fulfill her promise to Greg, but Greg overthought it instead. It only made her head dizzy.

When she just left the cafeteria, someone pulled her hand and spontaneously Bella turned around, but…

SPLASH!

Bella was splashed by someone who pulled her hand.

"Rasoline!" Greg yelled shockingly at Rasoline, Isha's best friend.

Everybody was surprised to see Rasoline dared enough to splash Bella right on her face. They knew if there was a student who bravely annoyed Bella Jensly, he or she would pay the price.

"What the hell are you doing, Sol?" asked Isha hurriedly after Rasoline.

"She crossed my limit, Sha!"

"You'd better apologize to Bella right away," demanded Isha.

"What?! It's not my fault! It was hers! After she failed to take Marco from you, now she wants to take Greg from me!" Rasoline protested.

Rasoline yelled to Bella, "Is your hobby taking someone's boyfriend, b***h?"

"Rasoline!!” Greg shouted at Rasoline due to her foul saying.

"So you're still defending her? Marco doesn't even want to be with her!" Rasoline replied more angrily.

"But what you're doing is too much," said Isha.

"Sha, I really wonder what you are made of. She bullies you again and again, and she tries to take your boyfriend from you too! How can you not be angry with her after everything she has done to you?" Rasoline was being furious this time.

"Isha is made of steel, I presume?" Bella casually responded.

Silence arrived among them all immediately after Bella casually said such a thing as they knew Bella would usually be enraged as well and tried to retaliate.

"It's getting more fun! I bet they will fight sooner or later. Prepare your smartphone now!" Everyone in the cafeteria was whispering to each other.

The Valconoes members only watched the scene from afar, on the middle table they usually gather around.

Bella saw Rasoline trying to hold on to her rage. Bella took a glass of water she ordered earlier for Greg, and Rasoline stepped back immediately after seeing it.

"Why? Are you scared that I'll splash you back?" asked Bella underestimating her. Actually, Bella just wanted to drink the water herself. Bella Avalia was surely different from Bella Jensly. Instead of being enraged, Bella Avalia just glared at Rasoline while sipping the water.

"Hmm… Talk about pride, are you sure that you are better than I am?" Bella voiced herself first.

She continued, "I know that Greg isn't your boyfriend, after all."

Rosaline, who heard it, suddenly froze. Everyone was surprised as well since they thought that Rosaline and Greg were a couple. It turned out that they didn't have any relationship at all.

"You two are just the same as me and Marco, so what you said earlier to me is suitable for you too, b***h!" shouted Bella right in front of Rosaline's face.

"What do you know about me?!" Rosaline tried to defend herself against Bella.

Bella approached Rosaline and whispered in her ear, "I know everything people don't even know yet, Rosaline Bilief."

Rosaline couldn't say anything. Bella then glared at Isha head to toe.

"Oops… What is she going to do to baby Isha?" Frans playfully asked around.

After she was satisfied glaring at Isha, Bella left the cafeteria. Everyone dropped their jaws while seeing the scene because they thought Bella will do something worse to them after Rosaline splashed her before.

"Sigh… so there won't be any fight?"

"It's not fun!"

Everyone lamented how the fun seemingly never happened.

"Your sister is unusual, Al," Algaz commented.

Without paying attention to what his friend said, Alvin left the cafeteria as well.

The rare moment indeed happened and the entire school was amused with Bella's change of nature and the fact that Rosaline was actually a rude girl. People usually saw both Isha and Rosaline as soft-spoken girls.

Would a good impression go back to Bella one more time? Or would Rosaline replace Bella as an antagonist due to her rude acts toward Bella?

Meanwhile, Marco still didn't believe what he saw in front of his eyes. He was already prepared to defend Isha who might get scolded by Bella due to her best friend's bad attitude.

"She truly changed."
