The birds went silent with the dawn of darkness but the squeaks and squeals of crickets, frogs, toads and other members of the wild unknown to us, were only intensified. The water waves in the distance did not care about day or night, they sang their praises and showed their power to whoever was interested and at whatever the hour. At that time of night though, humanity usually left the wild, leaving an environment so calm and cool for the few of us that had a purpose to enjoy. Darkness manifested its glory, the sun had finally gone to bed, the moon was not in sight and the stars were not as bright.
