Chapter 3

902 Words
GEORGINA woke up early this morning. She decided to go in the kitchen to cook something for her breakfast, and from there, she was shocked when she saw Travis in their dining as if he was really waiting for her. "Oh, why so early? I think Alex is still in his dreams. You should go here at least 10 am. You know, sleeping is one of his hobbies," she laughed at her own joke. He shrugged his shoulders. "Nah, I'm really waiting for you." He smiled, showing his white and good set pair of teeths. She was about to pull a chair but he outran her and pulled the chair for her. "Huh? Me?" she asked curiously. "You know, I just got home from 6 long years ago. I want to relax. I want to stroll around malls and I want you to accompany me,"  He said huskily. She gasped secretly. "But, Kuya--"  before she even completed her words, he cut her off. "Kuya? Let's not fool ourselves here, Georgina. You know that what we had is more than that, 6 years ago." he said meaningfully and he scanned her body. She involuntarily gulps and tense while looking around to see if someone hears them. "K-kuya please.  Lower your voice someone may hear you." she said almost begging. He raised one eyebrow and cross-armed. "Then stop calling me Kuya. Call me Travis, just like what you're calling me when our bodies become as one in my bed. You're not my sister to call me that way and don't play innocent Georgina, Georgina can almost hear her loud heartbeats. "Okay, then fine. Travis, please let bygones be bygones." She doesn't even have an idea where she gets that strength. His eyes darkened. "Why? You're afraid that your fiancé will found out what happened to us?" His eyes were burning while looking at her. "I-It's none of your business anymore. I already forgot that night. I hope you do too. Let's just pretend as if nothing happened between us," He pulled her arm towards him. She almost ached. "Huh! Forget? Do you have any idea what you're asking from me, Georgina? Forget that night? I'm afraid I can't grant your request, sweetheart." he said, grinning at her. "L-let go of me." "What will your fiancé think if he finds out that the woman he treats on the pedestal for years has already intimate moments with another guy?"  he smiled trickily. Her eyes wide opened. "Y-you wouldn't dare! T-travis, how dare you!" He smiled sheepishly. "You're mine, Georgina. From the very first start, you're mine." She can't understand what he is trying to say, she's trying to escape from him grabbing her arms. "Are you nuts? I'm Blake's property. Whatever happened to us years ago is already finished. That is only one night of forgetting things. Just one night of being stupid that I've told you I love you. And thanks to you, you make me realize that you're not worth my love. I'm sorry Travis, but you're right. I didn't love you truly." There is no reason to lie. After all, she was young then when she confessed her feelings to him. And isn't he the one who stopped her imagination towards him? It's him who told her that he doesn't love her and it's for the best if he gives it to someone special. Now, why is he still insisting on the past she already buried years ago? Why now, when she already moved on and he is out of her league? Why? She saw the pain registered right on his eyes. "After all that I've been through... After all my sacrifices, this is what I get from you..." he said almost whispering. She grabbed that chance to finally get out from his touch. "Don't touch me, Travis. You don't have any right to do that to me. And I don't have any idea what sacrifice you're talking about! Don't tell me you already forgot that you're the one who rejected my feelings to you? And I don't have any plans to bring back my love for you. So can you please stop this. My parents might have caught us and will get suspicious," she said, annoyed. He let go of her but there is a sudden change of mood. He set her breakfast. She snapped. "Don't do this. Leave me alone, Travis. Nanay Mila! Nanay Mila!" she shouted looking for her Yaya. He sighed. "She's not here. She told me she will go to Market. I prepared this breakfast for you. I cook it for you. Please eat some," he said almost begging. She just hissed. She was so irritated by Travis' presence. "Travis, I appreciate your effort. But please, leave me alone. I don't want to be rude, but I don't wanna see your face." she said emotionless. His lips were trembling. "W-why? Is it because I rejected you back then? Look, Georgina I did it because--" She shook her head. "Travis, I understand you. You don't have to explain. It's not about the past. It's me. I already forgot the past, even you. I'm not the old Georgina that used to love you. I'm a changed woman now, Travis. I already love someone now... And it's not you." Travis clenched his teeth."So, it's all about him huh? You're afraid that he will know me," Travis seems to pinpoint her fears.
