Lisa called the number on the card Alex gave her the first day they met. "Hello sir it's Lisa, uhmmm I was thinking if we should meet up and discuss what we talked about at your house" she said. He hung up the call and texted his office address to her. She got to his office, at the front desk was his secretary Gina, as it was written on a tag she pinned on her suit. "Good morning I'm Lisa and I'm here to see Mr Alex. Gina didn't give a response immediately she continued on her computer, " do you have an appointment with him, she asked. "Yes I do" Lisa replied. Gina checked her appointment records, " I'm sorry ma'am your name's not in the book of appointments, kindly leave". Lisa gave her a stern look, grabbed the door handle and barged in, gina follows after her to stop her, immediately they both drop their eyes to the ground, they had met Alex having s*x with a lady, the lady ran towards the bathroom quickly picking up her clothes, "What the hell", Alex exclaimed. He held up his pants to his private area confused for a second, Lisa's head still bent to the ground, gina ran out of the office shocked at what she had just seen with her eyes, her boss completely naked. She panicked and knew she'd be fired for what had just happened. Alex put on his pants ignoring Lisa still standing at the corner with her eyes bent to the ground, he put on his shirt buttoned up and folded the arms. The lady in the bathroom came out dressed in light make up, her hair neatly combed, well oiled and packed up. She walked straight to the door not saying a word, opened and left.

Lisa still standing like a frozen sculpture didn't know if she should turn or just stand there, "Are you crazy" Alex said in a hoarse tone. Then she turned "I'm sorry, I didn't just think whatever happened was what was going to be happening at the moment. He picked up his telephone "gina come inside now" gina opened the door going on her knees to apologize, "sir I did my best to stop her, I'm so sorry sir", "You're fired, leave this premises now" he said. Lisa just watched and felt guilty, she made gina loose her job. Gina left with tears dropping down her cheeks. Alex turned to Lisa "I hate poor people, you know why, because they don't think" Lisa didn't understand if the statement was meant for her or for gina, "it's not enough to fire her you know, she did her job, I was the one who pushed through" "you don't come to my office and tell me who or who not to fire, do you understand" Alex said hitting his hands on the table.

There was short silence between them when Lisa said " I'm here to agree to the contract marriage, but there's going to be some changes. I won't do it for forty thousand dollars anymore, it should be increased to a hundred thousand dollars" . "We're meeting my parents on Saturday and we've known ourselves for five months, my dad loves asking questions so be careful not to fidget. Now you're here I'd want to know more about you and make some changes." Alex said. What does he mean by make some changes, Lisa thought to herself, she wondered if he had herad her when she said she would take the contract for hundred not forty. "Sir I said I wouldn't take the contract for forty anymore, I hope you heard me the...Alex cuts in "I heard you the first time, you always have to find a way to magnify your poverty state, why's that. By the way from forty to hundred is not really a good start for a thief, but I'd choose to overlook some things for now". His arrogance almost gave her a push out of his office, he calls her all sorts of names without the thought of how it made her feel. She pitied the woman that would finally end up with him after the contract was over. She hated him even more "I hate you and your arrogance disgust me, because you were privilege to be born into daddy's money doesn't make me less of a person, we're both human beings, we live on earth and breathe the same air, so if you think you're all powerful or whatever you think you are, should be put aside whenever you're talking to me, do you understand" she stood up to leave , got to the door turned back and sat down. Alex gave a wry smile. Nobody has ever spoken to him like that in his life, he admired her boldness, her piercing soul , it gave him sweet chills. "Whatever you think you are, leave it at the door before you step into my office, the next time you tell at me, I'd throw you out like the trash that you are" he finally said. "I hate you" she added, "I never liked you" he said. There was that silence again as they both stare into each other's eyes . "So on Saturday like I said, we'd be meeting my parents. my father only mingle with the rich, so we'd hire parents for you" he broke the silence. "What, wait, what, what do you mean by we'd hire parents for me, who is we, count me out" she yelled. "A deal is a deal, we'd hire parents for you to play the rich folks and that's final" he yelled back. "You know what I'm no longer interested in whatever is going on here, find somebody else to be your pauper" she said about to leave, "don't you dare walk out on me " he stood up. "Watch me". He rushed to the door where she stood grabbed her arms turning her to his face, she swinged her arms and he pinned her to the wall, their eyes locked on each other, his breathing so warm, the smell of his perfume, smelt so expensive, his lips kissable enough to get her pregnant, she imagined her self in bed with him, his grasp was so sexy even if it hurts.
