“Why don't we race around the whole manor to see who is faster?” Alec suggested when Jasper commented that he was better at it than Alec.
“You don't know your way around, you'd get lost.” Jasper reminded Alec to which he just shrugged.
“Let's do a practice lap then!” Alec persisted and when his husband sighed he said, “Unless you're afraid of losing.”
That seemed to do the work because laughed while saying, “Afraid, and me of you. Nice joke Alec. Let's do a practice lap.”
Alec smiled triumphantly and started following Jasper as he traced the course that they were supposed to follow for their race.
When they made their way around the side of the building, Alec yelled, “You have a hot water pool!?” making Pegasus jump slightly.
