“Hey, Colton!” Alec greeted the familiar stranger gratefully.
“Hlow,” Colton gave him a tight lipped smile, looking from Jasper to him. “Can I. . . ?”
“Oh, yeah,” Alec nodded and gestured for him to sit down on the vacant seat. Colton complied happily, but when he noticed Jasper's hard look settled at him, he cleared his throat and distracted himself by looking down at the menu. Alec saw that and kicked Jasper under the table.
“So Colton, this is my husband, Jasper Lightwood, CEO of Stigma. The company I work for.” Alec said casually, but this brought a wide smile on Jasper's lips.
Colton glanced at Jasper for a short period of time and at Alec with his eyes widened as saucers, before extending his hand awkwardly towards Jasper. “It's nice meeting you, I am Colton.”
