Dayang Maria woke up when she felt an arms wrapped around her. She slowly opened her eyes and what greeted her was her lover's face. He was looking straight at her. Dayang Maria immediately sat up and moved a distance away from the man.
“How did I get here?” she asked as she looked around. She looked at her clothes and it were all in one piece. She heaved a sigh of relief. She looked around and it was still dark.
How did she get here? She thought to herself. The last time she remembered was she stormed out of her room. And how many hours did it passed? She remembered that the sun was still out when she went out of her room.
“You passed out as you were running away from your room. What happened?” he asked as he caressed her face. Concern flashed on his gentle face.
