With a flick of my wrist, I sent the flight attendant off. It felt amazing to know that I would be home within the next half hour. I knew that I would feel so much better knowing that Gemma wouldn't be anywhere near Mike. She was now safe.
I turned in my seat just in time to watch my precious gem's eyes open. God, she was beautiful. I leaned in to press a gentle kiss to her lips; this was something I had been wanting to do since the moment I carried her onto this very plane.
