Chapter Seven Chance Waking up in my bed with the smell of Ruby in my nose, but no woman in my arms turned my smile into a frown. “Damn.” Of course, she had to be at work early, and that’s why she wasn’t there snuggling with me. But I missed her already. Throwing my legs over the side of the bed, I felt the pain from the events of the day before. A smile curved my lips as the memory of catching that monster of a fish flooded my brain. There wasn’t time to be lying around, reveling in my memories, though.
