Two days have passed since my father was admitted to the hospital, and all this time I’ve been here, stuck between uncertainty and waiting. Two days during which I haven’t spoken to Daphne. To be honest, I couldn’t even if I wanted to, because my phone is dead. Thanks to Ryan, my trusty older brother.
I don’t understand how someone can drop a phone from the fourth floor of a hospital. He swears it was an accident, that he was trying to charge it and the cable somehow got tangled, but I know he’s a disaster with anything tech-related.
