Secrets unravel

Unravelling one secret would make Michael much more curious about finding the second but to his disappointment neither he got any clues nor ideas if there was some secret in the library too. He felt a bit dejected but determined to find it. He knew as there were no rooms left without any trap door or hidden wardrobe (although he couldn't find any thing valuable, just dust and empty chests) he knew there must be smthing in this library too as this room was the largest in whole villa.

Few weeks passed but Michael couldn't find anything interesting in the library. One day he was out of the villa with few foxes that he had befriended, Michael always had a way with animals. Just then, he heard some rumbling sound from the villa. Dust from the slant roof top fall. He went inside as soon as possible but found nothing out of sorts. Aunt was in kithen marinating the pork and Thomas as usual in front of the TV rubbing his belly. Though when he was rushing in he heard his aunt saying,

" Are you crazy? What do u want to destroy him too"

''Don't worry I have fixed that shelf, this time it won't make noise if u open it.'', Thinas was explaing it to Maria.

It was too weird to hear but he couldn't get a thing. As the foxes had already ran scared by all the rumbling and the evening sun was already snuggling behins the forest. Michael decided to report at his base, the library. Wehn he went inside the library he found the whole place had been dusted and it felt good to see it unusually clean. He picked up a book and moved to the nearest chair just when he opened the book his eyes fell on the a showcase. He had tried to move it in all way possible too.

"Hmmm! So it really is as wonderful as Thomas says", he wondered.

"Lemme take a closer look!"

As Michael was admiring the clean show case which seemed brand new to him now.

He saw something that he never noticed thanks to all the dust. As he was not that work loving it never bothered him to dust the library himself and he was strictly ordered by the aunt for that. He won't be dusting the library or would get a dust infection. There was a pipe in the mouth of idol that could come out...and when u uncapped it, it was just a long pin with a differently shaped top. More like a miniature harpoon and on the bottom of the show case their was a 'X' like cut. He suddenly though of something.

He pulled out the pin and tried to insert it in the cut, it went inside with a 'shink'. Michael felt something so, he pressed it further and then he heard.

The clicking sound which went ticking like a clock. Followed by the sound of gears, whirring and moving as smooth as cloque. His joy knew no bounds, he unraveled something. The secret of the library that he had been searching. Glint in eyes, gleaming smile, jolly expression on his face. Satisfied yet storming intuition with that overwhelming phase.
