The Slave Premiere

Author’s POV "Bring them forward." The command echoed like a death sentence through the massive hall. The doors groaned open, and a line of slaves was dragged inside. Music filled the hall as they filed in. Some walked numbly, their spirits shattered beyond recognition. Others struggled against the chains biting into their wrists and ankles. Reina followed behind them, her heart pounding so violently she thought it might break free from her chest. Then she saw him seated at the head of the room, his gaze unreadable, his fingers lazily tapping against the arm of his throne. But it wasn’t just him. The King’s Council was present. Seven other rulers sat beside him—seven powerful men, each more ruthless than the next. One king was already a nightmare. Seven? Sweat slicked her palms, and for a moment, her vision blurred. Steadying herself, she darted her eyes around the hall, trying to find familiar faces, but none of her people were there. Relief flooded her veins at the realization. At least they were spared from this torture. "Hold it together." A sharp, piercing scream shattered the silence. Reina flinched, her head snapping toward the source. A girl—a maid no older than seventeen—was being dragged to the front of the room. Her face was swollen, her lips cracked and blood dripping down from her forehead. Her clothes were torn and barely clung to her body as it exposed bruises and wounds. She could barely stand, yet the guards shoved her forward without mercy. "She tried to escape," one of them sneered. King Edward chuckled, eyes glinting with malicious amusement. “Then make an example out of her.” "No." The word slipped from Reina’s lips, raw with disbelief. The girl’s bloodshot eyes darted all over the room, full of desperation, pleading. “Please,” she said, her voice raw and sharp. “I-I won’t try it again. I swear—“ The sword flashed, and the guard plunged it into her belly. A sickening thud followed. Blood pooled in a dark, glistening puddle beneath the girl’s lifeless body, her mouth still parted as if the words had died with her. Reina slapped a hand over her mouth, bile burning the back of her throat. The scent of copper, sweat, and death filled the air. She wanted to scream. To run. To fight. But her body betrayed her. She stood frozen in horror. No one spoke. No one moved. The kings watched—some bored, others entertained. King William looked away, jaw clenched, knowing fully well that since she was Edward’s slave, he couldn't do much about it. Only King Draco sighed, eyes dark. King Harold rubbed his temples, looking bored. But none of them stopped it. "Let the auction begin."A guard shoved a young girl onto the platform. "A healthy, untouched, and obedient maiden," the auctioneer announced, gripping her chin like an object for display. “Starting price—three hundred gold.” Reina’s chest tightened painfully. "Someone stop this. Please." But no one did. Within minutes, the girl was sold. Her new owner? King Edward. He wasted no time. “Bring her to me.” The girl cried as the guards ripped her clothes and she was dragged towards him and he unzipped his trousers revealing his huge d**k. When she tried to resist, Edward’s hand struck her face so hard her head snapped to the side. The sound echoed through the hall. Reina felt the pain as if it had landed on her own cheek. She wanted to scream, to stop it. But she couldn’t. If she tried it… she would end up like the maid. Around her, the room descended into dark depravity. The moans became even louder in the room as more slaves were sold and ordered to please their owners. Not only were they sucking on the kings’ d***s, they were also asked to sit on the kings’ laps as they forcefully took them. Reina’s entire body trembled as nausea coursed through her. She looked at King William from the corner of her eyes. And unlike the others, he was sitting perfectly still, his expression unreadable as his fingers rested on the arm of his throne. William didn’t allow anyone to touch him. Even a servant reached to pour him a drink, he recoiled, moving away as if their touch burned him. Reina’s heart raced. She wondered if it was also her father’s doing. Had her father ruined him so much that he couldn’t even stand human contact? Her pulse pounded as he sat there as if the horror unfolding in front of him bored him. She hesitated but when his eyes landed on her, she begged silently. For a moment, something flickered in his eyes but it was gone as soon as it had appeared. A mask of indifference settled on his face, and his eyes were filled with disgust as he turned away. “Next!” It was her turn, and her blood ran cold as one of the guards grabbed her, dragging her onto the platform. "King Zach’s daughter turned into property," one of the kings sneered. "The irony," another laughed. “A princess in chains.” King William remained silent, his fingers tapping against the armrest. He had heard it all. It didn’t move him. He was only there because it was a ritual, a custom he had to partake in because he had gotten his kingdom back. He didn’t care about Reina. But as Theos roughly grabbed her, his grip tightened on his chair. Memories came flooding in—laughter as rough hands… A wave of nausea washed over him. He hated this. Reina’s stomach twisted as she clutched her dress tightly. She thought she’d braced herself. She hadn’t. “She’s the reason why we’re all here,” King Edward declared, his eyes filled with dark amusement. “She is,” King Damien agreed, his eyes roaming over her with hunger. “Her father made our lives hell, didn’t he?” King Dave let out a low laugh. “I remember when he introduced an entire family. The mother, the father and… even their children.” “Not only that,” another king said as he shook his head. “He would make fathers watch as he broke their daughters before sleeping with them. And if they resisted?” A twisted smile curled at his lips. “He killed them on the spot.” Reina’s stomach twisted into knots as she took in their words. She had always known her father was cruel, but hearing things he did… “And now,” King Edward said with a sadistic smile, “his daughter meets the same fate.” Reina’s hand trembled, but she balled them into fists. She wanted to vanish into thin air and wake up from the nightmare, but this was her reality. “Four thousand gold.” “Five thousand!” “Ten!” “Fifty thousand gold!” King Edward announced. The room fell silent. “I want to have a taste of her,” he smirked, pushing the slave kneeling in front of him aside. Reina’s breath caught, and she instinctively stepped back. He reached for her breast, and she barely resisted the urge to slap him. His hand moved into her hair, tugging on it hard. “You better behave,” he said with a frown etched on his face. Reina nodded as panic shot through her. He moved his hand to her skirt and ripped it off with one tug, the other kings staring at her lower body with hunger. “Tear off her undergarment, Edward,” King Damien said as he pushed down the head of his slave on his c**k. Reina kept trying to calm down, telling herself that it would be over soon because if she dared disobey or fight it wouldn’t end well for her. Edward’s hand slid between her thighs. She gasped as he plunged a finger into her. "No, please no—" Reina cried out as her hand instinctively wrapped around his wrist trying to stop it. “Don’t you dare!” He said sharply. Reina stilled and shut her eyes tight, unable to bear seeing people watch as she was harassed. “She’s a beauty down there too,” King Damien grunted. “I know,” King Edward replied excitedly as he put another finger into her, making Reina bite down on her lips to prevent herself from making a sound. Most of the kings had already started penetrating their slaves as they watched her and she wondered if that was the same thing her father did in his court. He pulled his hand before dragging her to the table on the platform. He spread her on it and returned to fingering her roughly while slaves and kings moaned in unison. She felt hands on her breasts and she opened her eyes to see that king Damien was now fondling them while his slave kept on sucking him. Reina clenched her jaw as she tried to think of anything but what was happening to her. But she couldn’t. Fear filled up her heart and shame twisted inside of her. Maybe death would be better. She was pulled out of her thoughts when she felt a nudge near her naked heat. She wanted to struggle when she realized king Edward wanted to penetrate her. “No. Stop, pl-please…” she stuttered, almost breaking into tears as she struggled to push him away but his hand on her thigh tightened, King Damien’s hand on her breast became even rougher. “Enough!” The voice echoed through the room as king William stood up and everyone stilled. Reina breath hitched as she turned toward him. She was surprised that King William had put an end to her torture. A shape breath of relief escaped her lips as she gathered her torn gown around her naked body with tears flowing down her cheeks. If this was what her father made them go through, she was sorry. She could endure any other torture William inflicted on her but not this. Anguish ripped at her soul as she averted King Edward’s hateful gaze. King Edward’s face darkened. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” "Enough!" The voice shook the room. Again. “This is unlike you, William.,” King Damien scoffed. “You hate her. So what’s this?” William’s lips twitched slightly. “I haven’t had my way with her yet,” Everyone in the room gasped and Reina's eyes lit up in shock as relief flooded her. Why was he lying to protect her? “No wonder she was so tight,” King Edward sneered. “So you’re saying we can have her after you’re done?” William didn’t answer which angered the kings. “You’re not giving us a response,” King Damien spoke up. “Is that the real reason or do you now want to be merciful to her?” “No.” Was William’s curt reply as he felt angered by the question, he hated her so what were they insinuating? “Then brand her.” King Edward smirked. A guard walked forward, presenting a golden bracelet that was embedded with the symbol of King William’s kingdom. “A claim of ownership,” Edward continued, his eyes flickering between Reina and William. “She is your property after all.” William didn’t say anything, he simply picked the bracelet, turned to Reina and clasped the cold metal around her wrist. Reina let out a low gasp, the cold metal biting into her skin. The kings cheered and Edward turned to look at Reina. “You’ll end up beneath me. Sooner than later.” Wanting to prove to the kings that he had no mercy in him towards Reina, William turned to the guards, his expression blank. “Take her to the dungeon!” Reina’s previous relief shattered and she widened her eyes in fear. Two guards grabbed onto her but she didn’t fight it as she looked at his cold and distant face. And without any doubt, Lareina knew that the inevitable was about to happen. ** ** ** Patricia was brushing through her hair while humming when her personal maid—Darla burst into the room. “My lady!” She said breathlessly. Patricia c****d an eyebrow. “What is it?” “The king… he stopped the King's council from having their way with Reina.” “What?” Patricia asked, surprised as her brush fell from her hand. “Why would he do that?” “I have no idea, but—“ Patricia's lips curled into a wicked smile. “Well then,” she murmured. “Let’s waste no more time. It’s time to put our plan into motion,” She said. Darkness gleamed in her eyes as she cast her mind to the fateful incident that changed their lives twelve years ago.
