THIRD PERSON’S POV
“Melanie is in the fire?”
Carl asked trying to be sure he didn’t hear that right.
“We are yet to confirm that, but Gary said she was in there,”
Chief Wilson said
Carl sank back into the seat of the waiting cab.
“Carl” Chief Wilson called out
“Carl, I’m driving to the scene now, do you want to come along?”
Wilson asked
Carl said nothing; he simply dragged himself to his feet, and nodded, hinting Wilson to lead the way.
On the road drive to the accident scene Carl did not say a word he sat still.
“We are here,” Wilson announced as they arrived the scene.
The fire had been put out.
Carl opened the door and ran towards the damaged vehicle
“Any news?”
